Art Currently is looking for an intern passionate about the arts and journalism. With that comes the task of running an arts publication, including editing, copywriting, and publishing social media content. This internship will provide opportunities to be a part of the growth of a wide-reaching publication that is undergoing a rebrand.

We’re seeking an intern willing to take the publication’s digital identity to the next level and grow its following on social media through strategic content posting and engagement. Overall, the internship provides training in editing, writing, and curating content for an emerging arts publication. This position is a part-time, limited-term post ending after three months; however, possibilities for hiring permanently are foreseeable.

QUALIFICATIONS

The intern should be familiar with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Anyone interested in publishing their essays, articles, reviews, and previews of art-related topics is welcome to pitch stories.

Will the opportunity be remote or require in-person work? Are there set hours? The candidate is responsible for their remote schedule and hours (this is flexible but must commit for at least three days out of the week). Occasional in-person meetings are required.

Paid/unpaid? Unpaid but opportunity to self-publish.
